The coffee table T1 is part of a furniture series whose form language develops from the drawing of a single line. Consequently, reduction and a commitment to clear shape are the foundation of the design. The reference to the drawn line remains perceptible in the determination of the form.In the realisation of the two-dimensional drawing, the design takes on a third dimension, which, depending on the perspective, seems to change back into two-dimensionality. By using a steel frame covered with an insulating tube, the design aims to playfully bring out the beauty of functional objects.
